Goal
We seeks a knowledgeable and ambitious Sales Manager to help grow its business. You will be part of an innovative global company. Established in Tokyo, Japan, with a production facility in Genk. This position is based in Belgium, with the possibility to work hybrid.
About the role
As a Sales Manager, you will be stepping into an entrepreneurial role, responsible for driving sales of extensive product line across targeted markets in Asia, South Africa. South Europe and France. Your role will involve working closely with existing and prospective customers to seamlessly integrate surface solutions into their operations. Collaboration with the R&D and application team will be essential to support custom-tailored applications and respond to general market needs and trends. We are looking for a candidate with a can-do mentality and a interest in B2B technical sales. Your ability to grow existing business, identify opportunities, and build long-term customer relationships at all organizational levels will be critical to your success. This role requires international travel up to 50% within the target markets.
Main tasks & responsibilities
Develop and execute sales strategies to drive growth in targeted markets: Asia, South Africa, South Europe, and France.
Identify and prioritize key market opportunities for surface solutions.
Meet and exceed sales targets and revenue goals.
Build and maintain long-term relationships with existing customers, ensuring high levels of satisfaction and retention.
Collaborate with customers and commercial agents to understand their operational needs and integrate solutions into their processes
Present technical and practical benefits of product line to customers.
Stay informed about market trends, customer preferences, and competitor activities.
Partner with the R&D team to align customer requirements with technical capabilities.
Work with the application team to develop and deliver customer-specific solutions.
Travel internationally up to 50% to engage directly with customers, partners, and industry events.
Regularly report on sales performance, market insights, and customer feedback to management.ProfielBachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, International Trade, Economics, or a related field – or equivalent through relevant experience
Have a proactive, can-do mentality
Experience from working in a multi-cultural, international company is a plus.
Fluent proficiency in English
