Internship Position
This Internship position will involve working on our LUVMI-M projectWe are looking for an Intern, who will participate to our LUVMI-M Rover project. As part of our Lunar Rover development activity, the position will entail supporting the analysis of the first LUVMI-M commercial missions, the identification of potential payload customers, and to the specification, and design of payload interfaces to the Lunar Rover.
The successful candidate will be a part of the Future Projects & Exploration (FPX) Team from our Technologies, Applications & Research Division in the Systems Department and will primarily report to the Future Projects & Exploration (FPX) Team Lead.
* Location: Sint-Stevens-Woluwe (Brussels Area)
* Duration: 3 to 6 Months
* Start date: As of Quarter 2, 2025.
Tasks and Responsibilities
* Identify payload customers and analysis of specific case(s)
* Participate to enhancements of the Customer user guide
Contribute to:
* First LUVMI-M commercial mission(s) definition
* Mission and system requirements specification
* Specification and design of payload interfaces to the Lunar Rover
* Enhancement of the customer user’ guide.
Skills and Experience
* Currently enrolled in the final year of a master’s degree in space engineering, robotics engineering, electrical engineering or mechanical engineering
* Enthusiastic and team worker
* Autonomous and rigorous mindset
* Good written and spoken English.
Considered as Assets
* Understanding of Lunar environmental conditions and challenges
Experience or knowledge in:
* Planetary robotics / mobility systems (rover) – hardware or software
* Space systems engineering.
