As an IT specialist, you are responsible for supporting and ensuring the smooth functioning of our IT operations. You will assist in managing the accounts of our team, monitoring servers, performing routine backups, and providing technical support to our team. This position is ideal for someone detail-oriented and motivated to grow under the supervision and guidance of our Head of IT in a collaborative environment.

Your Mission
* Employee Account Management:
o Create, update, and deactivate user accounts across various systems.
o Manage access permissions and troubleshoot login issues.
* Server Monitoring:
o Regularly monitor server health and performance.
o Respond to alerts and escalate issues to senior IT staff when needed.
* Data Backups:
o Perform routine backups to ensure data integrity and availability.
o Verify and maintain backup logs and ensure compliance with company policies.
* Technical Support:
o Provide first-level support to employees for IT-related issues.
o Assist in setting up and troubleshooting workstations, printers, and other hardware.
* Documentation:
o Maintain accurate documentation of processes, incidents, and resolutions.
* General IT Maintenance:
o Analyze security threats (quarantined emails, vulnerability reports).
o Assist in installing and updating software.
o Support IT projects and initiatives as needed.

Minimum Requirements
* Good understanding of Unix/Linux and Windows operating systems.
* Basic experience with Bash scripting for automation and troubleshooting.
* Proficiency in using Git for version control and collaboration.
* Knowledge of relational databases (e.g., PostgreSQL) for basic queries and maintenance.
* Awareness of security best practices for systems and data protection.
* Excellent proficiency (B2) in English.
* A Bachelor’s degree or higher in a relevant field such as IT or Computer Science.
It's a plus if you have:
* Familiarity with AWS or other cloud platforms.
* Understanding of Docker and Kubernetes for containerization and orchestration.
