Department:
As the EMEA Development Centre (EDC), we develop and test air-conditioning, heating, refrigeration, and ventilation products, as well as controls and IoT solutions.
Your Role:
As a product validation engineer within our EMEA Development Centre, you will be involved in the development and testing of heat pumps, refrigeration systems, and commercial air conditioning products focusing primarily on the quality of the newest products.
Your core tasks will include:
1. Together with the product department team, analyze the unit requirements, functionalities, and potential failure modes to determine the necessary tests and evaluation criteria for the products.
2. Determine the testing schedule autonomously while considering the global planning within and outside EDC.
3. Execute validation tests (structure, reliability, performance, sound, and safety); deeply analyze the test results and confirm required criteria are met.
4. Validate and verify the results of FEM simulations.
5. Discuss the test results with the product development team and play an active role in defining countermeasures.
6. Gather data, visualize, and formalize the test report.
7. Discuss your interim results with management, diagnose issues, and implement action plans to identify and avoid bottlenecks.
8. Report and confirm development quality status to senior management in design review meetings.
Your Profile:
1. You have a master's degree in engineering, preferably in thermodynamics or energy systems.
2. You possess a hands-on mentality and an analytical, quality-driven mindset with a high sense of responsibility.
3. You have a strong technical interest.
4. You have a good understanding of analysis tools and methods.
5. You are a team player driven to find solutions to challenging technical issues.
6. You have a strong interest in the HVACR business and want to actively contribute to achieving the goals of the Green Deal.
7. You enjoy playing an active role in projects and have the requisite self-discipline to establish timetables, set priorities, and meet deadlines.
8. Knowledge of both spoken and written English is essential for this position.
