Purpose of the position
The SAP Centre of Excellence Manager (SAP CoE Manager) will together with his/her team develop, research, test and implement business process improvements, procedures in the S4/Hana environment present in Nipro Europe Group Companies. He/she together with an international team of internal and external resources will support business needs for automation, standardization, system enhancement and resolution of incidents. He will introduce SAP innovations that can support the business growth or digitalization.
Responsibilities
1. Responsible for the budget Opex and Capex of the SAP department
2. Manage a team of 8 people (Manage backlog & set priorities to the team; Coach and Guide SAP BA’s; Team performance management; Provide leadership and strategy to the SAP CoE team and ongoing SAP developments)
3. Consolidate and internalize SAP knowledge as well as manage and build-up the international SAP competence centre for Nipro Europe Group Companies
4. Setting a short term, mid-term and long-term strategy and roadmap for the SAP CE in alignment with SAP architect
5. Manage SAP operational support incidents and development of enhancements related to SAP and it’s interfaces.
6. Establish solid working relationships with key business stakeholders and an understanding of the various segments and business models.
7. Advise senior stakeholders of capability and possible solutions to business challenges
8. Support the business in evaluating software that may be used in conjunction with SAP, together with SAP Architect. Identify areas of compatibility with SAP and / or provide alternate solutions.
9. Identifying and delivering continual service improvements within the SAP technology suite and SAP operation processes in order to meet business requirements in accordance with best practices.
10. Applying SAP and other system knowledge and skills in order to improve, develop, engineer and implement functionalities as determined by the projects and provide internal consulting support to the business departments on various projects and / or system issues to ensure successful implementation.
11. Ensure and provide operational support to the business for resolution of incidents and development of enhancements related to SAP and it’s interfaces
12. Negotiate together with procurement on Service Agreements with external providers

13. Able to communicate and translate IT-slang into business language
14. Able to communicate with external parties with a clear view on the Nipro-IT strategy for SAP
15. Able to detect software definable solutions instead of hardwired solutions.
16. Suggest new ways of working
17. Able to translate business requirements into operational requirements for SAP
18. Able to analyze data to improve his/her Service Pillar
19. SAP project management experience
20. In-depth knowledge of the following SAP modules: FI, CO, AM, MM, SD; knowledge of PP/PM are a plus.
21. Has general knowledge of interfacing possibilities between other business applications and SAP.
