What you do
1. Collaborate on the concrete development of research projects in the field of technical textiles and innovative materials, initially under the supervision of a project manager.
2. Conduct research on new product families and processes.
3. Perform feasibility studies, research, and product implementations in production.
4. Research tasks in chemical, material science, mechanical, and textile areas. Examples of specific research domains include reducing ecological footprints, developing innovative products for alternative energy production, textile architecture, fish farming, fire protection, military applications, composites, ecological growing substrates, etc.
5. Maintain contact with research institutes, universities, and companies within and outside the group, both nationally and internationally.
Who you are
6. You hold a Master's degree in sciences or applied sciences with a specialization in chemistry, materials science, or textile science. Experience is not required.
7. You have a multidisciplinary approach, work independently, in a structured manner, and demonstrate a strong analytical mind.
8. You are hands-on, communicative, and a team player.
9. You have a good command of Dutch, English, and French. Knowledge of German is a plus.
10. You are willing to travel.
