If you're ready to join a dynamic team of Personal Assistants to gain a first experience as a Personal Assistant, this internship is tailor-made for you. This is a multifaceted internship experience where you will learn from A&O Shearman colleagues of various seniority levels.
Your role as a Personal Assistant intern
You will provide comprehensive support to junior lawyers and contribute to the efficiency of Practice Groups:
1. Managing schedules, coordinating travel arrangements, restaurants bookings and small events;
2. Assisting with document layout, printing, filing, and archiving;
3. Providing support on research and translations;
4. Handling administrative tasks, including expense management, timesheets;
5. Providing some help on ad hoc projects and tasks.
Who are we looking for
6. You are in your last year of Bachelor studies (Office Management, Management Assistant, etc.);
7. You are looking for an internship in the context of your studies between January 2025 and May 2025;
8. You have an excellent command of English, French and/or Dutch (native in one, good understanding of the other);
9. Your organizational skills are top-notch;
10. You demonstrate precision and resilience in your work;
11. You have a good command of MS Office;
12. You are a fast learner and you like to take initiative;
13. You are open to work from our offices in Brussels or Antwerp.
