As a Manufacturing Director at LVD Company, you are responsible for overseeing various departments to ensure the production of parts that offer the best compromise between cost, quality, reliability, safety, and environmental impact.You play a crucial role in executing breakthrough projects, both at our facility and internationally within the LVD group.In addition, you provide technical support to the purchasing department and collaborate closely with other production departments worldwide.You ensure our production processes run efficiently and effectively, continuously striving for optimization and improvement.

Management of Machine Maintenance:
Support for the Engineering Department:
* Guidance on new designs with a focus on manufacturability and cost control
Contribute to International Production Sites within the LVD Group:
* LVD SK
* LVD Strippit USA
* LVD HD in China
Technical Support for the Purchasing Department:
* Supplier Selection and Evaluation
* Supplier Visits when needed
Lead Breakthrough Projects:
* Examples: Development of new production cells, optimization of grinding processes
People Management:
* Direct and close collaboration with colleagues on the production floor
Skills
* Machining Specialist (Importance: 3): Knowledge of machining techniques and equipment.
* Machine Knowledge (Importance: 5): Deep understanding of CNC machines, purchasing, and maintenance.
* International Collaboration (Importance: 5): Supporting international sites.
* Manufacturing Management (Importance: 3): Balancing cost, quality, delivery, safety, and environmental impact.

Qualifications
* Education: Industrial Engineer in electromechanics or automation.
* Additional Training: Industrial engineering, work analysis, time management.
* Experience: Relevant work experience in a production environment, preferably with expertise in machining and machine maintenance.
* Language: Excellent knowledge of Dutch, good knowledge of French and English. German is a plus.
