About the Role
Reporting to the CFO, the Accounting & Consolidation Manager will be responsible for leading the accounting operations within Stellantis e-Transmissions, ensuring the integrity and efficiency of accounting processes, as well as timely and accurate financial reporting to shareholders and external stakeholders. As a key member of the finance leadership team, you will contribute to financial strategy and policy while coaching your Accounting & Consolidation team. You will also be responsible for enhancing the maturity of the company’s financial reporting and ensuring compliance with audit requirements.
Responsibilities
* Lead and manage a finance team to execute accounting and administrative tasks.
* Ensure compliance with financial accounting standards under IFRS and Belgian GAAP.
* Develop performance and KPI-based accounting reports to facilitate seamless collaboration with other business functions.
* Improve accounting processes to enhance effectiveness and efficiency, while providing strong coaching to develop team members.
* Serve as the Business Process Owner for accounting processes and related roadmaps, in collaboration with IT. Structure knowledge management and manage SAP key user roles within the team.
* Oversee audit requirements, address compliance issues, and prepare the annual account sign-off for the board.
Qualifications
* Fluency in English; additional knowledge of French or Dutch is an asset.
* Expertise in IFRS, Belgian GAAP, and SAP.
* Over 5 years of relevant experience, with at least 3+ years in a similar role.
* Strong academic background (minimum Bachelor’s degree, preferably a Master’s) in Accounting or Finance.
* Proven experience leading audit processes and managing legal entity full sign-off.
* Demonstrated experience in process improvement and financial integrity performance monitoring.
* Experience working in a production environment is a plus.
