Manage the upstream and downstream value added flows of raw materials, finished goods and related information among the suppliers, the production organization and the customers to provide highest degree of customer satisfaction at the lowest possible cost. Lead and develop site supply chain new product and planning team effectively within the production plant environment with capacity restrictions of personnel and machine output and collaborate effectively with various stakeholders and counterparts to assure best results.

Responsible for the Supply Chain planning department, including new products, production and raw material planning in the plant in Buggenhout.

Long Description
What am I expected to deliver, and what are my main tasks?
1. Provide leadership and direction to supply chain planning teams.
2. Optimize Production Planning, oversee MPS, MRP, and detailed shop floor scheduling while balancing cost efficiency with stock level management.
3. Oversee effective usage of production capacity within the operational boundaries agreed with Manufacturing.
4. Lead RCCP process at plant side and work efficiently with central planners to identify and resolve capacity shortages.
5. Actively communicate to the plant manager and the management team.
6. Provide real time information on scheduling and product availability during the complete product life cycle for all customers.
7. Be responsible for procurement department, i.e. all activities related to obtaining products and materials from outside suppliers following the Supplier agreements & prices negotiated by the Central Purchasing. This includes the order placement, inbound transportation, storage, handling, quality assurance. Coordinate with suppliers on scheduling and supply continuity.
8. Outsource packing activities to increase focus on activities in the value chain with a distinctive advantage.
9. Measure performance and define actions to continuously improve the KPIs.
10. Continuously monitor performance
