For our office in Madrid, we are looking for a FP&A Analyst.
What will you do day-to-day?
* Review and prepare the monthly reporting for the renewable projects across Europe including profit and loss statement, cashflow, balance sheet and financial KPI's.
* Analyze and report possible deviations of Time/Cost/Quality calculations during the project´s timeline in comparison to the business plan as well as budget and explain the deviations by close coordination with the different departments (Investment, Development, Construction, Operations, Asset Management, etc). Propose countermeasures in case of deviations.
* Keep close track and comprehension of the Financial Model for the renewable assets, providing feedback on the deviations with regards to closing figures.
* Steer Liquidity Management between Fund and Project Management and coordinating with the Treasury Department.
* Support other departments from the origination until hand over/sales process in all concerns of interim and external financing aspects of the projects.
* Ensure correct development, implementation and maintenance of the Group's IT FP&A system that supports the analytical information.
What are we looking for?
* Strong technical accounting background and experience in accounting, statutory audit, reporting or planning.
* Strong analytical and problem solving skills.
* Fluent in both English and Spanish. Strong verbal and written communication skills required in both languages.
* High capacity to adapt to changes and new processes taking ownership on them with a proactive approach.
* Being able to manage workloads, prioritize tasks and work through strict deadlines.
* 5 years of experience in financial controlling and reporting.
* Experience working with Microsoft Dynamics and knowledge of Board is valued.
