We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Security Officer specialized in Public Cloud Services to join our Security Management / Security-by-Design team at Proximus ADA. The candidate will be responsible for ensuring the security and integrity of our cloud-based infrastructure and services to serve any business domain of the Proximus Group, at first scoping the Proximus SA assets. This role involves developing, implementing, and maintaining security policies, procedures, and controls to safeguard our cloud environments against cyber threats and vulnerabilities.
Key Responsibilities
1. Cloud Security Strategy : Develop and implement a comprehensive security strategy for major public cloud services (Azure, Google Cloud, AWS, etc.).
2. Risk Assessment : Conduct regular security assessments and risk analyses of cloud environments to identify vulnerabilities and recommend mitigation strategies.
3. Compliance and Governance : Ensure compliance with relevant EU & BE regulations, standards, and best practices (, GDPR, ISO 27001) in the context of cloud services.
4. Security Architecture : Research and evaluate new cloud security technologies and solutions.
5. Incident Response : Facilitate incident response efforts for security breaches or other security incidents involving cloud services.
6. Monitoring and Auditing : Implement and manage security monitoring, logging, and auditing tools to detect and respond to security threats.
7. Security Awareness : Conduct training and awareness programs for staff on cloud security best practices and policies.
8. Collaboration : Provide guidance and support to cloud engineers and developers on security best practices and standards.
9. Vendor Management : support the VRM (Vendor risk management) team to secure relationships with the different cloud service providers.
10. Documentation : Maintain comprehensive documentation of security policies, procedures, and incident reports
Requirements
11. Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Security, or a related field (master’s degree preferred).
12. At least 5 years of experience in cloud security, preferably in Azure platform. Strong knowledge of Azure security services and tools, such as Azure Security Centre, Azure Sentinel, Azure Key Vault, Azure Firewall, etc.
13. Relevant certifications such as: Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP), Certified Cloud Security Professional (CCSP), Azure certification series like AZ-305, AZ-400, AZ-500, …
14. GCP Professional Cloud Security Engineer, Cloud Architect certifications are a plus.
15. Experience in CSPM (Cloud Security Posture Management) is a plus.
16. Excellent communication, diplomatic, stress resilient.
17. Problem-solving skills with ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
