Overview
ST Engineering iDirect – Manufacturing Competence Center in Erpe-Mere is the technical production unit of the STE iDirect group responsible for the production and repair of all its professional satellite communication systems.
In addition to this activity, the MCC also delivers manufacturing services to a broad portfolio of other customers in industrial, aviation, defense, medical, and space markets. The manufacturing plant has been awarded since 2015 as Factory of the Future and has been recognized as a reference in the industry ever since.
As a Customer Success Engineer, you will bridge the gap between technical solutions and customer satisfaction. You’ll work closely with our customers, helping them onboard, troubleshoot, and optimize their use of our services. Your technical expertise and problem-solving skills will also be key to supporting our sales team.
Responsibilities
* Serve as a trusted technical advisor to customers, guiding them through implementation, best practices, and optimization.
* Troubleshoot customer issues, diagnose problems, and provide solutions in collaboration with the engineering and product teams.
* Act as the voice of the customer, providing feedback to internal teams to drive product/process improvements.
* Develop and maintain technical documentation, specific customer procedures, FAQs, and support resources.
* Monitor customer metrics and proactively engage to ensure satisfaction and retention.
Qualifications
* Technical Expertise: A background in electronics, high-end low-volume manufacturing. Experience in interpreting technical data is essential.
* Analytical Skills: Proficiency in translating customer requirements into factory-ready information.
* NPI Knowledge: Familiarity with the New Product Introduction process.
* Communication and Interpersonal Skills: Excellent ability to liaise between customers and internal teams with a passion for helping customers succeed. Proficiency in Dutch and English.
* Problem-Solving Abilities: A proactive mindset to foresee and address challenges before they arise, combined with the ability to translate complex technical concepts into easy-to-understand solutions.
* ERP Experience: Knowledge of ERP software is a plus, preferably SAP.
* Previous Experience: Experience in customer-facing technical roles such as customer success, technical support, solutions engineering, or pre-sales.
