Job Description
Based in Charleroi, Belgium, reporting to the Construction Manager, the successful candidate will be responsible for planning, coordinating, managing and executing all material & plant controls & movement for the mechanical package for a large value, high-tech manufacturing facility. The successful candidate will be required to manage a team consisting of store keeper(s), cleaner(s), driver(s) and will be required to produce periodic progress reports including material & plant inventories and Goods receipting. The Logistic Lead will be required to interface with in-house mechanical team and external project parties to plan & coordinate site logistics.
Skills and Requirements
* Support PMT in development and execution of project logistic plan
* Manage and support project construction team
* Ability to oversee multiple tasks running concurrently
* Knowledge of material controls procedures
* Familiarity with mechanical components such as valves and pipe fittings an advantage but not essential
* Experience in SAP Goods receipting an advantage but not essential
* Rigging and manual handling qualifications required
* Lift AP qualification an advantage
Responsibilities
* Leading the logistics team on site in consultation with the construction team(s)
* Receiving, offloading and storing plant, materials and equipment
* Maintain store inventory of plant, material & equipment and record goods in / goods out and produce periodic stock reports
* Manage material distribution around the project site in coordination with the construction team
* Attending site meetings as required (internal and external)
* Review and input into rigging and lifting RAMS
* Producing weekly, monthly and periodic reports for internal and external purposes
