Job Description:
We currently have a vacancy for an Enterprise Architect fluent in English, to offer his/her services as an expert who will be based in Belgium. The work will be carried out either in the company’s premises or on-site at customer premises. In the context of the first assignment, the successful candidate will be integrated with the Development team of the company that will closely cooperate with a major client’s IT team on site.
Your tasks:
•Support the further migration of existing systems to new methods (DEVSECOPS) and the overall architecture Office support on new technology and architecture evolutions;
•Design data migration strategy and data modelling;
•Manage and follow up a set of projects and their life cycle phases (e.g. inception, elaboration, construction and transition), evaluate and contribute with proposals in the activities (architecture, specifications, development, tests);
•Set up and enforce the respect of organization, procedures and project office tasks, raising warnings in case of non-respect of these, propose new initiatives and contribute to the IT system design and strategic planning;
•Contribute to the program planning and delivery of artefacts according to the contract planning of deliveries and enforce the delivery of the project(s) according to the agreed schedule, with the expected quality and with the resources provided;
•Escalate risk and issues and provide suggestions for service or methodology improvements;
•Support transversal activities such as conference calls, produce documents, documents review, meetings minutes and quality checks.
Requirements
•University degree, combined with a minimum of 17 years of relevant working experience in IT;
•Minimum 10 years of experience with enterprise architecture solutions;
•Extensive experience with architecting and managing the lifecycle of large scale complex distributed IT systems, including data and business process modelling, IT design, technical specifications and conformance testing;
•Extensive experience with recent project management within IT large-scale integration projects, using a recognized methodology (e.g. PMI, PM2, PM2-Agile, Prince2);
•Experience with project management tools, such as MS Project, JIRA, Confluent, Nexus, Bitbucket, and Visio;
•Experience with XML (XSLT, XSD, etc.);
•Knowledge of Java (e.g. JMS J2EE) architecture and technologies;
•Knowledge of Oracle/ WebLogic technology stack, analytic and visualization tools (e.g. AS4, Elastic Search, Kibana, KAFKA), and B2B message exchange protocols (e.g. UML, PMI);
•Knowledge of ITIL and Tempo Service management framework would be considered as an asset;
•Excellent command of the English language.
