We are looking for an additional food-loving colleague to join our Corporate Quality team in Lembeke. As the Quality Specification Specialist you are the expert in food quality related areas such as recipe management, international food law, specification management, labelling and packaging approval. 1. First and foremost familiarise yourself with your product category, ingredients and production processes.
2. Follow international food law regarding ingredients, contaminants and labelling of your Natural Foods product range.
3. Convert food regulations into structured guidelines for product and labelling purposes.
4. Research legal and quality compliance of ingredients and labelling (inclusive claims studies) for new products and markets.
5. Share product information in a standardised and user-friendly way with the international sales and marketing departments and provide support with customer questions.
6. Approve specifications, labels and products from other food groups in your market areas.
7. Provide key user support with our new PLM system and update data related to food law, ingredients, recipes, specifications and labelling.
8. You have a master’s degree in food industry, food technology, food science, nutrition and/or dietetics.

12. You can work with PowerPoint and Excel, knowledge of PLM systems is a plus.
13. Finally you speak, read and understand Dutch and English fluently.
