Workstation Configurator – Job DescriptionIntroduction:As a Workstation Configurator, you will be responsible for designing, configuring, and optimizing workstation environments. Your expertise in architecture, technology evaluation, testing, and engineering will play a key role in ensuring efficiency, security, and seamless integration across the organisation's workstation configurations.Responsibilities:Develop, configure, and support Windows 10/11 Reference Configurations.Configure Windows 10/11 Group Policy Objects (GPOs) to enforce security and compliance.Integrate hardware, drivers, and BIOS settings to ensure compatibility and performance.Conduct testing and integration of workstation solutions.Write technical specifications and documentation to support configurations and deployments.Maintain and support existing PowerShell scripts for automation and system management.Design, implement, and maintain SCCM Task Sequences for Windows 10/11 reference configurations.Create and support Privileged Access Workstation (PAW) SCCM Task Sequences.Manage and optimize Windows workstation operating systems for deployment and security.Expertise & Skills:Strong experience with Windows 10/11 security, deployment, imaging, and management tools.Expert-level proficiency in PowerShell for automation and application packaging.Solid experience with System Center Configuration Manager (SCCM) / Microsoft Endpoint Configuration Manager.Familiarity with third-party tools for Windows 10/11 configuration and management.In-depth knowledge of Group Policy Object (GPO) configuration.Experience in troubleshooting and providing technical support.Ability to work effectively in an international, team-oriented environment.Minimum 8 years of relevant experience in workstation configuration and management.Technologies:Windows Workstation 10 & 11Microsoft SCCM / Endpoint Configuration ManagerMicrosoft Deployment Toolkit (MDT)PowerShell / VBScriptITIL FrameworkInstallShieldVMware Horizon View
