Our Manufacturing Systems & Technology team supports companies both in their strategy and in implementing the technologies which enable them to innovate at every stage of their production chain, from design to the finished product.
Are you an all-round expert in electromechanics? Have you always dreamed of a varied job in a high-tech environment? We are looking for a Responsible for the Mechanical Workshop at our site in Genk.
Your Responsibilities
1. Building test setups, including electrical wiring and mechanical assembly. Each prototype is unique and presents a technical challenge.
2. Managing a workshop equipped with a wide range of machines and infrastructure, including CNC machines, 3- and 5-axis milling machines, laser texturing equipment, cobots, robots, and injection molding machines.
3. Planning and overseeing maintenance of machines and infrastructure.
4. Ensuring order, cleanliness, and safety in the workshop and in our digital systems.
5. Providing technical and logistical support during events such as workshops and demonstrations held in Genk.
6. Acting as the key point of contact for colleagues, the building manager (THOR), regulatory bodies (Vinçotte), and other stakeholders.
In short, you will be overseeing the entire workshop and ensuring its efficient operation.
Who Are You?
1. You have a background in electromechanics through specialized training, a professional bachelor's degree, or experience in maintenance within a metalworking company.
2. You have general knowledge of machine construction (electrical, mechanical…) and are able to properly wire and connect installations, including electrical wiring, compressed air, and cooling systems.
3. You have strong mechanical skills and are familiar with existing solutions for setting up test benches, including assembly and clamping systems, tools, and accessories.
4. You have experience in CNC machine maintenance.
5. A background or interest in sensor connections is an advantage.
6. You are hands-on, independent, and proactive.
7. You have strong communication skills.
