Technical Application Manager – Freelance
For an insurance client, we are looking for a Technical Application Manager to support daily operations across business-critical applications. You will act as a key liaison between internal teams and external suppliers, ensuring timely ticket follow-up, hands-on problem-solving, and proper documentation of solutions and processes.
This is a hybrid role requiring 3 days on-site, focused on operational support, coordination, and minor technical changes.
Strong experience with Microsoft 365, SharePoint, Teams, and ticketing systems is required. A background in troubleshooting and a proactive mindset are essential.
Responsibilities:
* Monitor and follow up on support tickets via ticketing system, email, or phone.
* Collaborate with internal teams and suppliers to resolve incidents and service requests.
* Coordinate planning of changes with suppliers; test changes when applicable.
* Document solutions, incidents, and related procedures.
* Communicate clearly with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Profile:
* 5+ years of experience in IT operations, application support, or a similar role.
* Hands-on experience with SharePoint and Microsoft Teams administration.
* Strong working knowledge of Active Directory, Microsoft 365.
* Familiar with Jira and Confluence.
* Experience with PowerShell scripting is a plus.
* Affinity with Azure and API integrations is an advantage.
* Fluent in Dutch and English; French is a plus.
