For the Rail Information Mobile perimeter, we are looking for a project manager to extend the existing team. There are new projects to kick-off to support the SNCB operational personnel in their day-to-day duties.
Responsibilities
As a Project Manager you are part of the team Business Area Rail Information Mobile. You are responsible for one or several projects from a to z, meaning that you manage the delivery of the projects assigned to you in terms of scope, time, budget and quality. Our projects are situated within the domain of application development.
What do we expect from you?
1. Project PreparationManage the creation of the first estimates on resources and cost needsSupervise the preliminary study and shape the start-up of the projectManage the establishment and validation of the detailed scope, planning and budget in close collaboration with the client (SNCB) and our IT teamsDraft and follow up the project plan and ensure that the necessary documentation is createdAssure compliance with Legal Obligations (like GDPR, Security, …)Mapping and taking into account the internal and external dependencies
2. Project OrganisationManage the project teamAssure a correct stakeholder management in order to provide optimal business satisfactionConnect and collaborate with the client, IT Business Relationship Partners, IT Architects and the delivery teams, as well as with our external sourcing partner TCS and various suppliersAct as a central point of contact for all questions regarding the projects assigned to youOrchestrate activities between different IT and business roles (architecture, analysts, delivery managers, business)Monitor the project budget and estimatesIdentify, manage and mitigate issues and risks, coordinate towards solutions in close collaboration with the project team and / or the IT supplier and escalate before it's too lateOrganise / set up and lead the project status and steering groupsManage scope changes and their financial and timing consequencesEnsure the timely delivery of all activities that fall under the responsibility of the projectDefine and agree on communication, training and handover towards the involved internal client
3. Reporting & Quality ControlConduct internal quality controls to guarantee the quality of the deliverablesMaster, follow-up and report the status/progress of the project in terms of scope, budget and capacityRun intermediate project reviews and determine improvement sessionsIdentify risks, coordinate towards solutions and escalate before it’s too late

Vereisten
We are looking for an awesome project leader with the following experience and/or competencies:
4. You have a positive and constructive approach, both as a team player as well as in supporting the positive image of Ypto
5. You are a clear communicator upstream and downstream, separate core information from details and define concise messages
6. You are able to negotiate with different levels in the company, to close discussions to derive conclusions and to handle conflicts
7. You have preferably between 5-10 years of relevant experience as a Project Manager and/or Program Manager within a technical/IT environment with the delivery of medium or large projects projects in terms of scope, time, budget and quality
8. You have knowledge of Project Management methodologies, preferably PM² and/or PMBOK
9. You have a very good written and oral knowledge of English, French and Dutch
10. Experience with Prince2 and PMI is welcome too
11. Knowledge of SAFe (Essentials) and Agile is considered an asset
12. You understand IT application development life cycle management and it's underlying architectural and infrastructure components
13. You preferably hold a university degree in ICT or electronics, or equivalent through experience
14. Relevant experience in one of the following domains:Application development (web, mobile)ERP (SAP) and corporate ServicesIT Infrastructure
15. Experience in RFP within Public Sector will also be considered as an additional asset
