Team Leader Resource Planning - Contract Logistics

We are offering a challenging Team Leader Resource Planning role at our Contract Logistic Site in Eindhout, Belgium. Are you the passionate professional we are looking for to shape and lead resource planning on our multi-customer site?
Your Role
This role is based in a multi-user warehouse environment in Eindhout, handling diverse product categories such as fast-moving consumer goods, food, high-tech, and medical devices. You will start the integration with one direct report, possibly growing into multiple reports depending on the implementation needs. You will directly report to the Customer Service & Administration Manager.
Your Responsibilities
* Designing, implementing, and managing resource planning processes on a daily, weekly, monthly, and yearly basis.
* Forecasting resource needs based on operational demands and aligning manpower planning across different departments.
* Coordinating the daily allocation of manpower, ensuring an efficient and balanced distribution in line with business priorities.
* Continuously improving resource planning tools and processes, focusing on accuracy, automation, and efficiency, in line with lean principles such as value stream mapping and waste reduction.
* Collaborating with department heads and the warehouse leadership team to prioritize operational needs and maintain seamless execution.
* Monitoring and managing KPIs related to resource planning, and ensuring clear reporting to stakeholders.
* Embedding and upholding our quality, health, safety, and security (QSHE) standards.
* Building and developing your planning team, fostering individual growth and team cohesion.
Your Skills and Experiences
* A bachelor’s or master’s degree in logistics, supply chain management, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
* At least 2 years of experience in planning roles, such as resource planning, production planning.
* Strong leadership skills with experience in managing and motivating a team to achieve shared goals.
* Excellent analytical skills and proficiency in data-driven decision-making.
* Advanced MS Excel skills; experience with WMS/TMS systems is an advantage.
* Professional proficiency in Dutch and English, both spoken and written; knowledge of additional languages is a plus.
* Strong communication skills and the ability to engage effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
* Flexible and able to thrive under pressure in a dynamic environment.
