Job Title: F&B manager

My client is looking for a Food and Beverage Manager to look after multiple departments excluding the restaurants.
We are looking for a candidate who has experience in a 5* Luxury Hotel setting, not only will you need to provide excellent customer service but also you will need to be able to address your guests in French, English and Dutch ( this is a non negotiable).
Your Key Responsibilities will be:
Operations Management
1. Oversee the daily operations of the F&B department.
2. Ensure the cleanliness and maintenance of all F&B areas.
3. Implement and monitor standard operating procedures.
Staff Management
4. Recruit, train, and supervise F&B staff, including servers, bartenders, and support staff.
5. Schedule staff shifts and manage payroll.
6. Conduct performance evaluations and provide ongoing training and development.
Customer Service
7. Ensure high-quality customer service and satisfaction.
8. Handle customer complaints and feedback.
9. Develop and implement customer service policies and procedures.
Financial Management
10. Prepare and manage the F&B budget.
11. Monitor financial performance, including revenue, costs, and profitability.
12. Implement cost-control measures and strategies to increase profitability.
Inventory Management
13. Oversee inventory levels and ensure adequate supply of food and beverages.
14. Manage relationships with suppliers and negotiate contracts.
15. Conduct regular inventory audits and manage stock rotation.
Menu Development
16. Collaborate with chefs to develop and update menus.
17. Ensure menus are in line with current trends and customer preferences.
18. Monitor food quality and presentation.
Compliance and Safety
19. Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
20. Implement and monitor food safety and hygiene standards.
21. Conduct regular training on health and safety protocols.
Marketing and Promotions
22. Develop and execute marketing strategies to attract customers.
23. Plan and oversee special events and promotions.
24. Manage social media and other promotional activities.
Qualifications
25. Education:A degree in hospitality management, business administration, culinary arts, or a related field is often preferred.
26. Experience:Several years of experience in F&B management or a supervisory role within the 5* Luxury Hospitality Industry is regarded very favorable.
