We specialize in providing integrated solutions across the entire lifecycle of clean energy, from the promotion, development, and construction of wind farms, photovoltaic plants, and hydroelectric power stations, to their operation, maintenance, and the sale of the generated clean energy.
The Energy Management team is responsible for leading the definition and implementation of the trading strategy of the energy produced by our power plants across +10 different geographies.
We are looking to incorporate an Energy Management analyst willing to make a difference in the energy sector, contributing to the development of the company. Proficiency in English is required.
Main Responsabilities:
* Analyze and research the energy market in our new potential geographies, understanding the price calculation, current regulation and possible variables affecting its development (energy sales, quantitative analysis of demand, pricing, regulatory risks, geopolitical situation, etc.).
* Evaluation of pool prices studies, curtailment risks, grid transmission issues and other market constraints.
* Help to define business strategies to optimize the revenues from the sale of energy of Elawan’s portfolio, including energy storage, solar PV and wind.
* Define the strategy to optimize the revenues from the sale of environmental attributes.
* Review the revenues obtained through the sale of energy and associated products.
* Identify, evaluate, and lead new opportunities for power purchase agreements (PPAs) and Public Auctions.
* Negotiate and execute long-term and short-term commercial deal, ensuring all agreements align with the company’s risk profile.
* Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including legal, finance, and technical departments, to ensure successful PPA execution.
Experience:
* 3-5 years in the electric power industry, preferably renewable.
Required skills:
* Graduate or Postgraduate in Engineering (Industrial, Energy, Mining or similar). Master in Electric Power Industry (MEPI) highly valued. .
* Excellent analytical and organizational skills. Detailed oriented. Negotiation.
* Strong interpersonal skills, adaptability and team work ability.
* Professional fluency in English is a MUST, other languages are also highly valued.
* Advanced use of the Office Package (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
