We currently have a vacancy for a User Documentation & Training Expert fluent in English, to offer his/her services as an expert who will be based in Brussels. The work will be carried out either in the company’s premises or on-site at customer premises. In the context of the first assignment, the successful candidate will be integrated with the Development team of the company that will closely cooperate with a major client’s IT team on site.
Your tasks:
* Producing/maintaining training material (wiki pages, collaborative site pages, etc.);
* Configuring and testing the system for the training scenarios to be used;
* Organize and give training/coaching sessions;
* Provide guidance using social networks;
* Support users in the review process of the documentation;
* QA review of training material to ensure the defined standards and procedures are been followed;
* Prepare storyboards and design graphics;
* Creation of videos in order to explain the use of software to users;
* Review of training material specifically videos with audio recordings;
* Production of audio scripts;
* Should be prepared to record own voice for video and/or appear in videos;
* Create and maintain templates and standards and processes.
Requirements
* University degree combined with 15 years of working experience in IT;
* At least 3 years of work experience in online education or training, preferably designing and implementing professional education products;
* Very good knowledge of instructional design theories methodologies and best practices, including interactive online teaching methods content;
* Very good problem-solving skills as well as writing clear and structured documents;
* Very good knowledge of building training material as well as coaching experience;
* Very good communication skills with technical and non-technical audiences;
* Knowledge of Atlassian Confluence and Jira would be considered an asset as well as knowledge of Javascript, HTML, CSS, Ajax and SQL;
* Excellent command of the English language.
