We are looking for a Sales Manager Industrial Chemicals, with an existing customer portfolio located in Belgium and The Netherlands.
ABOUT THE ROLE
As our sales manager, you maintain and grow the business within the segment of Industrial Chemicals, with a focus on coatings and construction, performance chemicals, and fine chemicals. You promote the product portfolio to your customers in Belgium and The Netherlands. You proactively develop business at existing and new customers, in line with internal and external targets, whilst developing relationships and fulfil the expectations of all parties involved.
You work closely with the whole Azelis team, to deliver high levels of customer and supplier connection, and increase profitability and performance in the region.
You are passionate about discovering new product-specialties and thinking of strategies to support the Azelis customers to grow in market share. You take ownership and responsibility for growth, profitability, and the unique creation of specialties for the customers of Azelis.
WHO YOU ARE
1. You have a degree in Chemistry, Biochemistry, Engineering, or relevant experience in the Chemical Industry ;
2. You have excellent communication skills, both spoken and written, in Dutch and English. Good knowledge of French is an asset;
3. You have a commercial mindset and a good understanding of customer and market requirements;
4. You are focused on building long term relationships with the Azelis-customers and the Azelis-colleagues from all departments;
5. You call yourself proactive and flexible, and can work in an independent way;
6. You have a structured and accurate way of working. You are able to manage a portfolio of various projects at the same time;
7. We have offices in Merelbeke (BE) and Nijkerk (NL). You are willing to travel to the other offices on an occasional basis, depending on the needs of the business and team.
