Key Responsibilities
* Handle administrative tasks, such as processing purchase orders, maintaining procurement records, and tracking order status to ensure timely delivery.
* Assist with vendor selection and on boarding, verifying supplier credentials and updating vendor databases.
* Support tendering processes by preparing documentation, coordinating submissions, and tracking deadlines.
* Communicate with suppliers and internal teams to clarify requirements, resolve order discrepancies, and follow up on deliveries.
* Assist with contract management by organising and updating contract files, monitoring renewal dates, and supporting negotiation preparations.
* Generate regular procurement reports, analysing data to inform purchasing decisions.
* Aid in maintaining and updating procurement systems, ensuring data accuracy and efficiency.
Ideal Candidate Profile
* Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
* Minimum of 2 years in a procurement support or administrative role, ideally within a fast-paced environment.
* Strong attention to detail with excellent organisational skills and the ability to multitask.
* Proficiency in Excel and experience with procurement software
* Effective communicator with strong problem-solving skills and an interest in procurement processes.
* Proactive team player with a customer-oriented mindset.
