As an FPGA Engineering Supervisor, you will take on a pivotal role within a talented and cohesive team of engineers, guiding junior developers while balancing hands-on technical responsibilities and team supervision. You will report to the FPGA Team Leader in Belgium, with high collaboration with the German team.
Your key responsibilities will include:
* Managing and mentoring a team of 4 junior FPGA engineers, fostering their professional growth and coordinating daily tasks ;
* Overseeing architecture specification, development, simulation, documentation, and maintenance of FPGA-based products, including frame grabbers and embedded systems ;
* Exploring the latest FPGA technologies (Versal, Kintex Ultrascale, Agilex, Zynq MPSoC) to maintain innovation and performance standards ;
* Working with advanced tools such as ModelSim, Vivado, and Quartus, as well as cutting-edge technologies like Gigabit Ethernet, CoaXPress, PCIe, and MIPI CSI/2 ;
* Acting as the technical reference within the team, offering guidance and ensuring the quality and efficiency of the work delivered ;
* Ensuring smooth coordination with the German team when working on cross-border projects.

To succeed in this role, you should be an enthusiastic problem-solver with a keen interest in technical challenges and team management. You enjoy sharing your knowledge and helping others grow, while also being able to dive into complex technical issues when needed.
Your profile:
* You hold a Master’s Degree in Electronics Engineering or possess equivalent qualifications;
* You are fluent in both French and English (B2 level or higher ; a good command of German is an added advantage);
* You bring between at least 5 years of experience in FPGA development, ideally complemented by an initial experience in team supervision or project management;
* You are well-versed in FPGA brands and tools, including AMD/Xilinx, Intel/Altera, Microchip/Microsemi, Lattice, and Gowin;
* You are familiar with simulation tools such as ModelSim, enabling you to optimize performance and validate your designs effectively;
* You possess in-depth expertise in high-speed interfaces like DDR4, Gigabit Ethernet, CoaXPress, PCIe, and MIPI CSI/2;
* You have strong programming skills, including proficiency in VHDL, Verilog, HLS, ANSI C, Tcl script, Python, and source control management;
* You communicate clearly and effectively, thriving in collaborative environments and bringing a proactive mindset to every project;
* You are an analytical thinker, driven by a passion for innovation and a commitment to delivering quality results.
