1. Coordinating the Deal Review meetings between account management, sales management and the stakeholders to determine the likelihood of a sale and possible strategies for getting those deals over the finish line.
2. Increasing the focus and win rates for healthy deals that are aligned with our strategy and capabilities.
3. Helping the organization grow to work more as a disciplined and close team on commercial deals
4. Managing and inspiring a team of bid Managers to contribute to the delivery of successful tenders and bids.
5. Demonstrating strong stakeholder management skills to negotiate, influence, challenge and gain credibility with partners, finance, legal, and the Bid team to gather information and insights necessary for creating tailored and persuasive proposals.
6. Managing the end-to-end process of tenders and bids, ensuring timely submission while adhering to high-quality standards fostering a culture of continuous improvement and encouraging regular feedback.
7. Overseeing the tracking and analysis of tenders and bids performance, highlighting and questioning trends, identifying areas for improvement and implementing enhancements.
8. Managing the bid resources needed within the budget and report on overall performance.
Here’s what we are looking for in candidates
9. Good knowledge of project, bid, time and resource management and the ability to apply this in a practical way. Knowledge/certification of Bid Management and/or project management methodologies is an added value.
10. Know-how about procedures, tools, techniques and/or laws and regulations.
11. Analytical skills are required to translate complexity (large amounts of information, specific requirements, criteria, conditions, instructions) into deliverables,
12. Excellent written and verbal communication skills
13. Credibility to develop strong relationships with key stakeholders across the company
14. Strong leadership and team management capabilities.
15. Strong focus on the objectives and required outcome, highly result-driven.
16. Proficiency in project management, multitasking, and meeting deadlines.
17. Collaborative mindset with the capacity to work effectively with partners, lawyers, and support teams.
18. Detail-oriented approach to ensure accuracy and compliance with requirements.
19. A master’s degree and 7-10 years’ experience in Bid Management
20. Good knowledge of Dutch, French and English
