Job Description:
Full Custom Analog Layout Engineer
Initial 6 month contract + option to extend
ASAP start
Our client provides the flexibility to work both from their office premises and remotely from home to maintain a healthy work-life balance while being an integral part of the team.
Responsibilities:
1. Develop various Full Custom Analog blocks as per specifications provided and perform signoff checks after completing Top Level floor planning and routing.
2. Support migration by troubleshooting issues and applying documented workarounds.
3. Assist and verify setup of migration documents in close collaboration with our client’s flow and product owners.
4. Support user documentation changes with help from the software product owner.
5. Assist in testing of the new software environment based on documented test cases and support test case administration.
6. Design Analog Layouts like PLL, BG, LVDS, IVREF, etc. for various projects as per specifications.
7. Perform physical verifications like DRC, LVS, EM-IR, and other applicable checks for the designed blocks.
8. Perform floorplan and top-level routing, considering various power domains and challenges associated with mixed signal design.
9. Perform all CHIP level validations post Dummy fill and other sign-off checks necessary for the tape-out.
10. Provide all deliverables in time to meet project deadlines.
11. Preparation of reports and completion of checklists at the end of the project.
Required Knowledge and Skills:
1. Strong experience in designing various Analog Blocks and for Top Level integration of these blocks and signoff checks.
2. Knowledge to design layouts in TSMC16-12NM is a must.
3. Sound knowledge of EDA Tools.
4. Aware of Layout Dependent Effects for deep submicron technology nodes.
5. Tape-out experience on TSMC16-12NM node is required.
