To reinforce our Production & Manufacturing team, we are looking for a Maintenance Manager.
Mission and Key Tasks
Create a world-class technical department to ensure high availability combined with compliance to SHEQ
* Lead and manage maintenance efforts and processes to meet business needs of the plant (savings, results).
* Define maintenance system capability, goals, and targets.
* Have a longer-term view on maintenance, reliability performance, and maintenance process improvements.
* Balance the financial resources to maximize availability with compliance to SHEQ regulations.

Providing leadership and direction to all your teams and their supervisors.
Strive for zero accidents.
Guide and support all direct reports in all kinds of questions and tasks, including the development of action plans to accomplish goals and directing the integration of people and new technologies.
Supervise and control all kinds of technical projects (new installations, conversions, start-ups, facilities, etc.) and provide active support to ensure machine availability on time and within budget.
Maintain active communication with plant management and the management team.
Provide all required technical support to achieve output and waste targets as well as quality KPIs of the production lines.
Support the organization of preventive and curative maintenance to ensure the availability of the production lines.
Prepare annual training plans for the technical staff in close cooperation with the supervisors of the technical teams.
Supervise and support the availability of critical spare parts and take the appropriate actions necessary.
Control and manage the availability of technical documentation for all types of technical equipment installed or in stock.
Provide all required support for executing trials (Quality, R&D, Sales).
Maintain active communication with foreign equipment suppliers (converting and packaging machinery).
Analyze new technologies, resource requirements, and market demands, and support the implementation of new technology and staff actively.
Plan and direct the selection, installation, testing, and operation of new technical equipment (machinery and facility).
Lead the department yearly budget process and continuously monitor performance versus budget.
Background and Experience
* Master's degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.
* At least 5 years of experience as a technical manager or maintenance manager in a leading position of a mid-size company, preferably in international business relations.
* Strong practical background and experience; technical apprenticeship prior to study recommended.
* Knowledge of maintenance strategy and ability to communicate it effectively to a large group of people.
* Strong leadership qualities.
* Dynamic, decisive, and goal-oriented personality.
* Analytical thinking — able to translate vision into action.
* Common sense.
* Ability to lead, manage, and motivate a diverse team.
* Ability to work and lead under stress.
* Strong communication skills in Dutch and English.
* Proficient computer skills (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, CAD, and SAP experience).
* Readiness for business trips.
