Complexity
In our data management work, accuracy is crucial. Even small mistakes can have big effects on the whole process. It's important to be careful with every piece of information we handle. Luckily, we have systems in place to help catch errors. These built-in checks alert our Data & Operations support team when something doesn't look right. When this happens, it's up to you to investigate. You'll need to look closely at the data, figure out what went wrong, and then fix it. Think of yourself as a problem-solver. You're not just entering data; you're making sure everything runs smoothly. It's an important job that keeps our operations on track. While it can be challenging at times, your attention to detail makes a real difference in keeping our processes accurate and efficient. Additionally, you'll work closely with cross-functional teams to streamline processes and improve procedures, often handling tasks without clear boundaries.
Ambiguity
Managing data in an ERP system can be tricky at times. You might run into situations where the best way forward isn't obvious right away. When this happens, don't worry - it's normal and part of the job. Your role is to dig a bit deeper and find the right solution. This might mean looking up some guidelines, having a chat with your coworkers, or reaching out to someone with more experience. The key is to communicate clearly about what you're unsure of and actively work towards finding an answer. By tackling these unclear situations head-on, you help keep things running smoothly. It also reduces the chance of mistakes that could throw a wrench in our processes. Remember, it's okay not to have all the answers immediately. What's important is your willingness to seek them out and make informed decisions. This approach helps us maintain accuracy and efficiency in our data management tasks. You'll also be expected to translate insights into actionable procedures at the cross-functional team level and provide essential training when needed.
