To reinforce our team and expand our technical support capabilities, we are looking for an ICT Support Engineer Trainee. You will be working closely with our experienced ICT Support Engineers and report directly to the ICT Support Manager. You will also collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless integration of IT solutions and support.
As an ICT Support Engineer Trainee:
* You will act as a technical support resource, providing first-line support to our internal staff.
* You will be responsible for troubleshooting hardware and software issues, ensuring timely and effective resolutions.
* You will take the lead in documenting technical processes and solutions, contributing to our knowledge base.
* You will assist with the installation, configuration, and maintenance of ICT systems and infrastructure
Job Responsibilities:
* Technical Support: provide first-level support to internal users via Teams, email, or in-person. Troubleshoot and resolve hardware and software issues, escalating complex problems to senior engineers when necessary.
* System Maintenance: assist in the setup, configuration, and maintenance of ICT systems including computers, networks, and servers.
* Documentation: create and maintain detailed documentation of support activities, technical procedures, and solutions.
* Project Assistance: support ongoing ICT projects, providing technical assistance and ensuring project timelines are met (Domain Controller Migration, InTune, etc).
* Asset Management: assist in the preparation of end-user devices, the management of our IT inventory, tracking hardware and software assets, and ensuring proper documentation (GLPI).

Excellent communication skills and a support-oriented mindset are essential as you will be interacting with a variety of users, ensuring their technical issues are resolved promptly and efficiently.

* You can effectively communicate in English, both spoken and written
* You are familiar with basic networking concepts and protocols
* You possess a strong desire to learn and adapt to new technologies and processes
Bonus Points For:
* Other Languages: additional language skills are a plus
* Software Knowledge: prior knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, Microsoft Windows Server, and Linux
* Extra Experience: any additional experience in ICT support, internships, or relevant projects
