What will you do all day?
As Bioprocess Analyst, you will be involved in activities relating to the early stage process development and late stage process optimization, transfer and clinical/commercial manufacturing support for upstream processes to produce protein therapeutics.
You will also be responsible for planning your own work with the team involved in the experiment, pro-actively collecting feedback on your work. You participate to the good order, maintenance and cleanliness of the laboratory by performing lab responsibilities in a reliable and service-oriented manner. You participate in continuous improvements of HSE by conformance checks on laboratory set-up and organization as well as day-to-day standards and procedures in close collaboration with the HSE department.
The overall function of this position is to perform in-process cell culture samples purification and analysis with minimal supervision.
What will be your main responsibilities?
As Bioprocess analyst, you will be part of a team dedicated to performing in-process analysis of bioprocesses. This includes:
1. Plan and perform daily laboratory activities related to analysis
2. Performance of analytical assays with minimal supervision
3. Follow in-place procedures to guaranty data integrity
4. Analysis of results using advanced statistical methodologies and tools
5. Verification of data and troubleshooting when required
6. Prepare technical reports, process summaries, protocols, and quantitative analyses.
7. Utilize process and laboratory derived data to support technical investigations and aid in process optimization/development

Profile
What skills do you bring to the table?
1. Bachelor’s degree in biology, chemical engineering or related discipline with at least 1 year of industry experience in an analytical lab in a biotech environment.
2. Strong laboratory skills, experience working with monoclonal antibodies.
3. Proven experience working with HPLC, CGE and cIEF systems and Empower3 Software.
4. Ability to multi-task and to organize and communicate large amounts of data.
5. Flexible and the ability to work in a team environment under deadlines.
6. Interpersonal skills to communicate and maintain good working relationships with internal customers/partners across departments and geographies.
7. Ability to work in a matrix and service-oriented environment.
8. Ability to present and discuss orally and in writing scientific data in English.
9. Ability to apply learning to other projects/situations, and to provide feedback to process development teams.
