Our dedicated team of seven sales professionals forms the backbone of our commercial success, and we’re looking for a visionary Sales Director to lead the next phase of our growth.The Sales Director will take charge of the global sales strategy, execution, and team leadership, ensuring sustainable revenue growth and market expansion. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in B2B sales, a proven track record of managing high-performing sales teams, and the ability to navigate complex, international sales channels. This role requires strategic thinking, strong operational capabilities, and excellent relationship management skills to drive results in direct sales and distributor-led markets.JOB RESPONSIBILITIESDevelop and execute a comprehensive global sales strategy aligned with the company’s overall business objectives.Analyze market trends, industry dynamics, and customer needs to identify opportunities for revenue growth.Drive market penetration strategies in existing markets while identifying and expanding into new geographies or sectors.Team Leadership and DevelopmentRecruit, manage, and mentor a team of 7 sales professionals, creating a culture of accountability, innovation, and excellence.Establish individual and team performance goals, ensuring alignment with organizational targets.Provide coaching, training, and development opportunities to enhance the skills and performance of the sales team.Sales Execution and Pipeline ManagementOversee the full sales lifecycle, from prospecting and lead generation to closing deals and maintaining customer relationships.Manage and optimize a pipeline of opportunities across direct and distributor sales channels, ensuring healthy sales forecasts and accurate reporting.Support the sales team in high-stakes negotiations and customer engagements to secure large-scale contracts.Distributor and Partner ManagementCultivate and maintain strong relationships with distributor networks in Asia, Europe, and North America.Establish performance metrics and incentives for distributors to drive results.Ensure alignment between distributor sales activities and the company’s overall strategy.Sales Process and Technology OptimizationEvaluate and refine existing sales processes to improve efficiency, scalability, and effectiveness.Oversee the implementation and utilization of CRM tools to ensure data-driven decision-making and transparency in reporting.Use analytics and insights to continuously optimize pricing strategies, deal structures, and customer engagement.Collaboration and Cross-Functional AlignmentWork closely with marketing teams to design and implement lead generation campaigns and market positioning strategies.Partner with the product development team to align offerings with market demands and customer feedback.Collaborate with operations and finance teams to ensure seamless execution of sales contracts and revenue recognition.PERFORMANCE METRICSAchievement of quarterly and annual sales targets and profitability target.Responsible and accountable for developing and executing global sales strategies to deliver growth in accordance with organizational objectives.Responsible for customer engagement, satisfaction and retention.Sales pipeline health, accuracy alongside predictive intelligence.Effective, regular reporting to CEO and other relevant stakeholders.Accountable for sales staff satisfaction and retention.ORGANIZATIONAL ALIGNMENTReports to the Chief Executive Officer.Directly manages global sales team in locations, but not limited to, Belgium, France, Germany, USA and China.Fosters close, cooperative relationships between sales team and personnel in other organizational departments.DESIRED SKILLS, QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCEMinimum of 8–10 years of experience in a senior sales leadership role, preferably in a B2B environment.MSc. In a technical discipline.
