As an international company, we develop medical software. With 80 employees in our segment in Belgium, we work from Wetteren, Ostend and Hasselt.
Our clients are general practitioners, specialist practitioners, dentists, therapists, … and with our software packages we offer them the support they need to manage their patient files, consultations, practice management, … and make sure there practice is run more efficiently.
As HR Country Lead for Belgium you have an A-Z responsibility for these employees on an operational level.
HR Country Lead
In your role as HR Country Lead
1. You ensure operational excellence in the delivery of HR services and solutions within the country.
2. You are part of a team of HR professionals in different countries and build a strong partnership with them and the Global HR and Segment Business Partners.
3. The implementation, adoption and improvement of existing or new People Solutions related to employee lifecycle topics are part of you day-to-day business.
4. You identify the needs of the employees and match these with delivering operational excellence, by focusing on the local and group topics (onboarding, engagement, people development, employee relations).
5. You also take on a part in the payroll administration, in collaboration with SD Worx, where you prepare the payroll and do the final check after a test run.
6. You are responsible for the implementation of all social regulations and personnel information in new hires, condition changes, exits, …
Your primary working location will be our main office in Wetteren, but you visit our Ostend office once a week and our Hasselt office once a month. In terms of high level collaboration, you can visit the HR-colleagues in Echt (Netherlands) from time to time.

7. Has a Bachelor or Master degree and thinking level, with (at least) a first experience in a generalist HR role.
8. Knowledge and experience in a fast paced, international environment is a plus.
9. Is great in HR analytics and anticipating the employee experience requirements.
10. Is the face of change and participates actively in support of HR and People change activities.
11. Is great in supporting and persuading stakeholders through sound arguments and building emotional commitment to take ownership for People topics.
12. Understands business data and uses it to increase impact of HR systems and processes .
13. Asks the right questions to gather knowledge through data insight-driven advice.
14. Notices patterns, trends or discrepancies when looking at information and data and uses these to make recommendations on how an approach of concept can solve a business problem.
15. Has an excellent knowledge of the Dutch and English language. French is a plus.
