Position
In your role as Key Account Manager (KAM), your focus will be to develop the commercial relationship with key customers: healthcare institutions, hospitals, clinics, purchasing groups.
You will also work closely together with the Scientific Product Advisor (SPA) and provide scientific advice on the specifications of the CAF-DCF products towards physicians and prescribers.
You execute your mission according to the objectives of the company, respecting ethics and regulatory obligations. You propose and implement the commercial policy after validation by your hierarchy and ensure the introduction and sales of products in your given territorial area of responsibility (Flanders).
Main responsibilities:
1. Developing, arguing and implementing an Area Action Plan based on national & regional objectives;
2. Preparing and managing tenders in your area of responsibility;
3. Establishing and developing professional relationships with different stakeholders;
4. Getting to know the needs and follow-up on the evolution of key customers (organizational structure, people evolution, );
5. Follow-up on the decision making processes of the different stakeholder groups (purchase department, pharmacy and prescribing physicians)
6. Managing customer contracts (annual revisions) and their evolution (hospital mergers, purchasing groups...);
7. Developing commercial arguments in order to convince buyers and decision-makers;
8. Follow-up on the orders (availability, delay, complaint) and on the customers loyalty and satisfaction;
9. Classification and prioritization of customers based on their potential (in consultation with your hierarchy).
Profile
10. You have a bachelor or masters degree in a scientific, pharmaceutical or biochemical domain.
11. You have at least 5 years as a hospital account manager and you are familiar with tender processes.
12. You are Dutch speaking with a good knowledge of French and English (able to read and understand scientific publications and work together with colleagues).
13. You like to work independently and to take initiative.
14. You show a strong business acumen and you are a good networker with excellent communication skills.
15. You are familiar with the MS Office applications.
16. You are hands-on, motivated, and used to working in a dynamic environment.
