The Banque centrale du Luxembourg (BCL), member of the Eurosystem, is currently seeking to recruit a(n): UNIX/LINUX ADMINISTRATOR (m/f/d) Career A1 Full time - (ref. 06/IT1/2025) Your mission: As a UNIX Administrator, you will support the UNIX administrators’ team in their daily operations and projects. You will help the team to ensure that requirements set by the BCL and ECB are met in regards of UNIX administration. Within the infrastructure section, the UNIX Administrator will install, configure and manage the UNIX servers. Your responsibilities:
* Participate in IT projects related to the UNIX/Linux infrastructure;
* Manage and develop our Openshift ecosystem;
* Help to define, write and test the procedures for internal users;
* Support for 1st level, DBA and developer teams;
* Manage the centralized storage systems and backup infrastructure.
Your profile:
* Master’s Degree in IT;
* Knowledge of UNIX, RHEL and IaC tools (Ansible, puppet, git);
* Willingness to acquire the following skills:
o System Monitoring;
o AIX and Solaris system Administration;
o Backup and recovery services;
o Virtualization;
* Fluent in English and in French, Luxembourgish and/or German would be a distinctive advantage;
* Good communication skills;
* Ability to work autonomously and cooperatively as part of a team;
* Flexibility to work outside core hours and during weekends.
