As an Account Manager specialising in animal health products for ruminants, you will be responsible for driving sales and market growth of medicines and vaccines within the livestock sector. You will work closely with veterinarians, farmers, and distributors to provide guidance, build strong relationships, and negotiate contracts. Our client is a global veterinary health company specialises in the research, development, production, and marketing of pharmaceutical products and vaccines for companion animals, livestock, swine, and poultry. With a presence in 50 countries, our client is recognised as one of the top animal health companies worldwide. As a successful Account Manager - Animal Health Ruminants - Wallonia, you have the following responsibilities: Account Management & Business Development: Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including veterinarians, farmers, and wholesalers in the assigned region (Wallonia and French part of Brussels). Promote and sell animal health products (medicines & vaccines) tailored for ruminants to veterinarians, farmers, and wholesalers in the assigned region (Wallonia and French part of Brussels). Drive the business growth : Identify new business opportunities, expand market presence, ensure products cross selling, negotiate contracts ... Internal collaboration & reporting: Collaborate with marketing and technical teams to enhance product positioning. Update the CRM tools with your sales and account management activities. Market analysis & awareness: Organise and participate to events and congresses to develop your network within the animal health industry and the expand the medicines and vaccines visibility within the Ruminants sector. Monitor industry trends, competitor activities, and customer needs. Ensure compliance with industry regulations and company policies. As a successful Account Manager - Animal Health Ruminants - Wallonia, you have the following profile: Bachelor or Master degree in sales, business administration, economy or medical fields. +3 years of selling experience in the healthcare and lifesciences industry - pharma or vaccines. Previous experience and knowledge in the animal health sector being a plus. Knowledge or a strong interest in the livestock and the ruminants markets. You are results-oriented with strong commercial & negotiations skills. Autonomous and independent with a nice team spirit. Located in Wallonia with the willingness to cover the entire Walloon region.
