Our Brussels-based House of Communication (labeled Great Place to Work) is looking for an Account Manager to join its team of around 120 employees and support the agency in serving clients such as: Argenta, ALDI, BMW, C&A, Decathlon, L’Oréal, Mars, Mini, Nikon, and many others.
Key Reponsibilities
* Act as the primary point of contact between the agency and clients, building strong and long-term relationships and ensuring high-quality service and strategic alignment.
* Develop and execute advertising strategies that align with client objectives and market trends.
* Coordinate and oversee multi-channel campaigns, ensuring timely delivery and budget adherence.
* Collaborate with creative, media, and digital teams to deliver high-quality campaigns.
* Monitor campaign performance and provide regular reports with insights and recommendations.
* Identify new business opportunities and contribute to agency growth by upselling services to existing clients.
* Manage client expectations, resolve issues, and ensure high levels of satisfaction.
* Stay updated on industry trends, competitor activities, and emerging advertising technologies.
* Report directly to the Account Director, ensuring alignment with overall agency strategy and goals.
Requirements and Qualifications
* 3-5 years of experience in in the advertising/marketing agency industry, preferably in a comparable role.
* Proven track record in agency account management, campaign management, client and stakeholder management, and problem-solving.
* Strong operational excellence with the ability to meet service level agreements and deliver high-quality results.
* Demonstrated financial and business knowledge related to marketing activities.
* Excellent team management skills, with the ability to work with cross-functional teams.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, enabling effective collaboration with clients and internal stakeholders.
* Team player with a proactive and problem-solving mindset.
* Fluent in Dutch, English, and French – the ability to communicate effectively in all three languages (or at least Dutch & English) is essential as well as being stationed in Belgium.
