Your responsibilities As a Production Manager for the spray and blast hall, you will be responsible for coordinating and managing the spray and blast hall. Together with a team of employees, you ensure the smooth operation of daily spray and blast activities. Coordination: You coordinate all daily spray and blast activities, ensuring compliance with strict quality requirements. Organization: As a Production Manager, you are responsible for your staff and the management of equipment, consumables, and machinery (e.G., scissor lifts, exhaust systems). Supervision: You lead and motivate a team of industrial painters/blast workers, supervisors, and a QC Inspector. Planning: You create a schedule and can make an accurate estimate of the number of employees, materials, and machinery required to complete the job successfully. Quality: You monitor quality and ensure work is carried out in accordance with the Inspection and Test Plan. Additionally, you contribute to problem-solving. Safety: You organize weekly safety walks and ensure your team wears the correct PPE in the right places. Efficiency: You promote process efficiency and progress control. Improvement: You resolve operational issues and propose improvements. Reporting: You report to the Production Manager. Your profile: Higher technical degree (Bachelor's or Master's) and some prior work experience. Willingness to learn about spray and blast techniques. Strong communication skills. Willingness to further develop leadership skills. Familiarity with NACE1, ICORR1, or FROSIO1? Excellent Or are you willing to learn and obtain certification? Just as good Interest in learning about quality control, paint/grit offerings, mixing, and blasting techniques. Actively seeking ways to use equipment (tools) more efficiently. Prioritizing safety.
