Role Purpose
Divisional Lead must be responsible for a sales team where all team members have the same primary divisional sales focus as the leader.
As a Divisional Lead you will be embarking on the first role in the Sales Leadership pathway where you will be responsible for continuing to achieve your personal sales targets alongside having responsibility for leading and developing a team of sales-people. Our Divisional Lead is responsible for driving focused business development, effective value messaging and successfully engaging clients to generate and win high quality and high value business opportunities. In order to be a successful Divisional Lead, you will be expected to execute against local and national Client Strategy plans, including meeting individual and team sales standards.
You will do this by driving operational success and accountability within your team by developing your people into Subject Matter Experts (SME’s) within their chosen specialism and supporting and enabling their performance to hit and exceed targets. You are expected to lead through action,
consistently hitting personal BD inputs and results, as well as developing your team’s skills and knowledge through observational coaching and focused demonstrations. You will continue to act as an advisor to your own clients and identify new business opportunities, whilst equally coaching
and guiding your team on how to identify and develop similar opportunities and ultimately supporting the success of your people.
Experience Required
• Demonstrate ability to hold team members to account by driving and supporting performance improvement
• Demonstrate mentorship of fellow team members both personally and professionally
• Demonstrate initial ability to develop coaching techniques and best practice in line with TEKsystems coaching models (GROW, Observational Coaching, Focused Demonstration)
• Demonstrate ability to create strong personal and professional relationships through understanding drivers and motivations of others
• Evidence of being ready to formally lead and manage a team of between 2-4 sales-people
