To strengthen our R&E EU department we are looking for a talented profile to fill the position of: EU Omnichannel Content Lead Rare & Epilepsy – Brussels, Belgium.
About the role
The EU Omnichannel Content Lead for Rare & Epilepsy is responsible for developing and implementing the omnichannel strategy for Rare & Epilepsy assets, which includes selecting channels and creating or repurposing content in line with EU brand strategies. Additionally, the EU Omnichannel Content Lead leverages external partnerships to maximize the reach and impact of activities, focusing on medical education, promotion and Patient Engagement/Patient Advocacy. The role also involves working closely with countries and local markets to support the effective execution of EU communication strategies.
You will work with
The EU Omnichannel Content Lead for Rare & Epilepsy collaborates closely with various stakeholders to ensure the successful development and execution of the omnichannel strategy. This includes working with the Rare & Epilepsy Cross-functional team, which encompasses commercial, medical, and patient experience and engagement departments, to create a comprehensive content roadmap for both branded and unbranded content.
What you will do
Omnichannel customer experience strategy and editorial calendar planning
1. Collaborate with the Rare & Epilepsy Cross-functional team to understand stakeholders' preferences and co-create engagement strategies. Develop a publishing strategy to build and maintain relationships using a regional editorial calendar.
2. Develop and implement the EU regional key omnichannel content and communication initiatives and deliverables (scientific & product online communication, publication plans, disease awareness, congress material, newsletters, customized emails, social media plans, online clinical practice exchange thru peer-to-peer activities, etc.) based on product news flow and customer interest from salesforce feedback.
3. Work with the EU/IC Omni team on the technical aspects of EU campaign implementation in partnership with i2i and OC team.
4. Track and monitor the impact of omnichannel communication as per agreed KPIs.
Development of asset content
1. Influence global omnichannel content deliverables and drive the creation and repurposing of regional content to meet local European needs, including managing communications for congresses/events, online portals, websites, customized emails, social media, and eCME platform collaborations.
2. Manage activities from agencies and 3rd party media collaborations.
Therapy area communication and partnership with broader digital team
1. Ensure seamless alignment with the Rare & Epilepsy team on therapy area communication and customer experience across the Neurology Portfolio (Fintepla, Rystiggo, Zilbrysq, DoxTM, and pipeline).
2. Drive consistency at the EU level in executing key strategic activities in alignment with EU cross-functional and global partners.
3. Partner with digital capability and i2i teams on best practice sharing and reporting.
4. Actively contribute to the Rare & Epilepsy community's ISP implementation, partnering with other functions to prioritize high-impact activities aligned with business strategies and available resources.
Interested? For this position you’ll need the following education, experience and skills
1. Bachelor’s or master’s degree in a relevant scientific discipline.
2. Fluent English communication (oral and written); any additional EU languages are a plus.
3. At least 5 years of healthcare-related medical experience, or marketing experience in the pharma industry.
4. Omnichannel/multichannel experience including the use of multiple platforms and communication channels.
5. Communication experience with documented ability to articulate complex subjects with clarity and ease.
6. Relevant working experience in specialty pharmaceuticals/biologics pharma industry at either European or multi-country level and experience in a matrix organization.
7. Track record of leading cross-business/cross-functional planning, collaborating, and solution building.
8. Preferable experience in neurology and/or rare diseases and strong technical expertise across the early engagement and commercialization spectrum.
9. Demonstrated experience of pharma compliance and governance activities and their pragmatic implementation.
10. Creativity and excellent written and verbal communication skills including the ability to influence audiences without selling overtly.
11. Strong analytical mindset with the ability to think critically in analytics, business planning, tactical plan development, and execution.
12. Proficient in developing, monitoring, and adjusting financial plans to ensure alignment with organizational goals.
13. Proven leadership skills in managing, developing, and cross-functional influencing teams.
14. Understanding of the relevant EU and local Codes and regulations.
