The Challenge
Are you ready to take on a key role in our supply chain?
The Supply Control department is the beating heart of our logistics organization. We ensure the smooth inflow of goods from suppliers and maintain optimal stock management. Together with a dedicated team of 25 supply controllers, we manage a network of over 1,200 suppliers and a wide range of spare parts for Scania trucks, buses, and diesel engines. Our focus extends across the entire supply chain—from suppliers to warehouses.
As Group Manager, you are the driving force behind this team. You organize, inspire, and coach your team members, enabling them to maximize their potential and continue growing.
Your focus will be on these key areas:
1. Motivate, coach and guide your team to grow both individually and collectively. You create an atmosphere where every individual can reach their full potential.
2. Lead the team with a focus on optimizing processes and achieving a more efficient and effective supply chain.
3. Tackle challenges with a solution-oriented mindset, managing escalation cases and collaborating with your team to develop and implement effective actions to resolve supply chain issues effectively.
4. Implement long-term strategies for the Supply Control department and translate this vision into clear goals for your team.
5. Build and maintain relationships with internal and external stakeholders to address and resolve supply chain challenges.
Your Talent
1. You hold a master’s degree, preferably in supply chain, logistics, or transport, and have at least five years of professional experience in a relevant field, along with solid knowledge of supply chain and/or logistics.
2. You are an assertive team player with strong analytical capacities and a proactive approach to challenges.
3. You are a natural team leader with a passion for coaching and inspiring others. Prior experience in a leadership role is preferred.
4. A strong passion for and knowledge of supply chain management, with an understanding of its complexities and dynamics.
5. Strong MS Office skills and fluency in Dutch and English are essential.
