CONTROLLER – REAL ESTATE INVESTMENT FUND – NT304 Our client, with entities in Amsterdam, Luxembourg, Jersey, and the UK, offers a tailored entity management and investment solution in exclusive collaboration with one of the largest American Bank. Together, they actively manage a substantial amount of assets, aiming for long-term investor wealth growth.Their core responsibilities include navigating the regulatory and legal landscape, managing financial reporting, and cash flows, all supported by around 55 employees across different offices. The collaboration between our client and this bank is integral to the investment process, integrating commercial, legal, and other considerations to make informed and responsible decisions. Additionally, our client provides directors and asset managers who play a crucial role in the corporate management structure and decision-making for key transactions within these entities.The Controller will play a key role in managing a portfolio of current Real Estate investments and the entities holding those assets, and will be essential in launching a new Real Estate fund in 2025. After 12 months, the Controller will most likely independently manage their own portfolio of entities and investments, including overseeing key relationships.The ideal candidate will have experience a solid background of the Private Equity and/or Real Estate fund industry. You will also need to be a good communicator, a team work and result driven person. The Role:
* Engage in investment transactions, collaborating closely with internal and external parties to ensure timely transaction closings for the Fund
* Manage fund flows by coordinating with various stakeholders involved in the Fund
* Perform accounting, reporting, cash management, and compliance tasks for several intermediary companies within the investment structure
* Ensure accurate preparation of (consolidated) financial statements and annual US tax reporting packages, adhering to relevant internal and external requirements and meeting all local compliance deadlines, including tax filings and other obligations
* Build strong relationships and coordinate with internal and external partners, such as auditors, tax advisors, and Real Estate fund stakeholders
* Support and present to board members in board meetings, providing data-driven insights to inform decision-making
The Profile:
* Bachelor's or Master’s degree in equivalent in accounting, controlling or business administration
* 5-6 years of experience in a similar position
* Experience with LuxGAAP
* Consolidation experience is recommended
* Speaks English fluently
* Sharp, dynamic and details focused
* Have good command of MS Suite.
