Position Summary
AXA Group Operations initiates with its Network Product Department a One Network Program to tackle its digital transformation, enhance user’s connectivity experience, and mitigate cyber risks. Within the Network Product department, the Data Center & Cloud product line is responsible for AXA Data Center and CLOUD Network infrastructure, including routers, switches, load balancers, Internet access, DC interconnection backbone, DWDM, Cloud network environment (AWS, AZURE, GOOGLE, Intercloud).
Data Center & Cloud Network engineers are designing, engineering, delivering, and supporting those products and services, which strongly contribute to the One Network program initiative.
Key Responsibilities
* The Network Product Engineer is responsible for defining, advertising, and ensuring the delivery of sustainable, robust, and secured solutions. In close collaboration with Group Security, CTO, and One Network Program, the Network Product Engineer will propose solutions at the right cost and bring business value to support the corporate business and lines of business strategies.
* The main activities include the following for his/her own area of responsibility:
o Contribute and support medium to long-term product evolution and continuous product improvement.
o Manage the advisory, selection, design, secure build & integration for the products in scope.
o Facilitate communications and interactions between functional groups, AXA IT Services, strategic partners, and vendors.
o Ensure QOS delivery and support of solutions.
Provide high expertise support on products and services.

* Leadership – Exhibits strong results orientation, change leadership, adaptability, and the ability to drive collaborative behaviour.
* Communication skills – Exhibits strong skills in listening, spoken and written communication, collaboration, and the ability to work in a global team. Network Products Engineers are expected to have the ability to understand and discuss with both senior managers and IT, and explain in clear language complicated architectural concepts and strategies.
* Openness and reaching out – Strong human relationship skills, exhibit curiosity and can see opportunities in situations, not just problems.
* International profile – A proven ability to work effectively in an international environment. In addition, exhibits a strong proficiency in English.
Skills and Experience
* Strong experience in driving large architecture, standardization & transformation initiatives.
* Core activity:
o Phase 1: Help to finalize NSX-T and ACI configuration with strong competency and experience. The candidate will help for the rollout to production of the new DCs and evacuate the former one. He will prepare knowledge transfer and documentation.
o Phase 2: Provide L3 support for production with build and Support team.
* Must have Network Automation skills (Terraform, Ansible, Python) for POD automation and will be a key contributor on this topic.
* Must have strong expertise in Network & Cloud design patterns, Security solutions & IT infrastructure best practices.
* Experience in managing Data Center and CLOUD Network technologies, AWS, AZURE, GOOGLE, INTERCLOUD, Transit Gateway, ACI, Switch Fabric, Load-balancer, VMWARE NSX-T.
* Knowledge in Network Security products, SASE, VPN (Cisco, F5), Firewalling (Checkpoint, Palo Alto, Cisco, Algosec), Web gateways (McAfee), Segmentation technologies and identity services, voice, wifi, SDWAN, LAN wired, WAN, MPLS will be appreciated.
* Must exhibit a strong understanding of today’s Network and infrastructure challenges and trends, mostly at Infrastructure and Technical levels.
* Established and demonstrably productive technical relationships with major IT vendors.
* Strives for excellence with deliverables of high quality and ability to work in tight planning.
* Gather, combine and analyze business and technical requirements from critical constituents. Recommend appropriate technological designs and solutions that align with business requirements, the company’s technical strategy and which provides the most efficient and cost-effective solution.
