Siemens MO MM MMF designs and develops for Infrabel the EBP systems (Electronic Control Desk). These are complex real-time computer systems which are being used in signaling boxes to control and manage the signaling infrastructure. The EBP system is essential for all rail traffic in Belgium.
As a Quality Manager you will:
1. Fine-tune the quality process for the EBP program.
2. Implement this quality process for software development and asset management.
3. Follow multiple projects (from multiple teams) in parallel.
4. Align the quality and configuration process with the safety processes (CSM – EN50128 – EN50129).
5. Execute internal process audits to determine adherence to the quality process, report deviations and follow-up the action plan
6. Participate in the Verification & Validation activities
7. Establish and monitor quality plan e.g. acc. ISO 9001
8. Define quality targets based project critical factors and define methods/tools based on Siemens standards.
9. Report quality status, quality incidents and root-cause-analysis to project management, team management and business management, and other defined parties.
10. Communicate quality targets to all people affected or involved. Escalate project-endangering situations as set forth in the mission of the function.

What will be your main goal?
16. Implement and ensure adherence to the quality process and keep it in line with the safety process.
Must have knowledge:
17. Experienced with application of EN 50126/50128/50129 and CSM (Common Safety Method)
18. Expertise in ISO 9001 process
19. Be fluent in ENG and have a good knowledge of FR or NL (Oral and writing)
Knowledge of the following domains is an asset:
20. Know-how of CENELEC norms (related to trains)
21. Understand Ubuntu / RedHat Linux system environment
22. Understand software code (Java and C) to be able to validate it against the coding guidelines and the architecture and design.
23. Understand software architecture
24. Being critical with safety applications
