We are offering a challenging Team Leader Customer Service, Planning & Admin function at our Contract Logistic Site in Eindhout, Belgium. Are you the passionate professional which we are looking for?
Your Role
As Team Leader you will be responsible for delivering an excellent organization of the inbound and outbound flows for different customers, with the logistic processes based in our site in Eindhout. Your new role is based in a multi user warehouse where we mainly handle fast moving consumer goods, food, high tech, and medical devices. You will lead a team of 7 10 white collar employees and report to the Customer Service and Administration Manager.
Your Responsibilities
* Supervision, coordination, and final responsibility for the day to day planning processes, including problem solving on planning issues, internal and external KPI management, correct invoicing, and general administration. Daily contact with customers will be part of the job.
* Handling of transport and warehouse claims in a way that supports the maintenance and further development of our customer relationships.
* Assuring the continuous improvement of all processes within your responsibility. You will strive for a minimum of manual handling and a maximum of automatic in and output to increase efficiency and accuracy according to lean principles such as value stream mapping, waste reduction, and standard work.
* Brickwall the execution and follow up of our quality, health, safety, and security policy (QSHE).
* Building and maintaining your team and stimulating the development of individual employees in your team.
* Building and maintaining a strong relationship with the warehouse leadership linked to the customer of your department, to ensure correct actions are prioritized together.
Your Skills and Experiences
1. You have a bachelor/masters degree in international forwarding and logistics or equal level by experience. Knowledge of several transport modalities is an asset (air, sea, road).
2. You have 3 years of experience in a planning function involving a variety of planning activities (inbound, outbound, resource planning, production planning, stock management, etc.).
3. You are a born communicator, capable of engaging with customers, external partners, and suppliers.
4. You possess strong leadership skills and can motivate and develop a team to achieve team goals. Actual experience in leading people is an asset.
5. You have an analytical mindset and are comfortable diving into data to extract meaningful information.
