Position SummaryWe are looking for a highly motivated, agile operator to assemble & configure industrial vending machines. This operator will be heavily involved within the complete flow of production, from picking the components, preparing for build, executing the assembly job & quality testing, to then ultimately reaching a finished stage to the pack and load the machine for shipment all within strict timelines and of course to a very high consistent standard.Additionally, the Production Operator - will be responsible for the organization and execution of the tagging of tools and encoding of RFID tags (integral operation known as RFID tool retrofit). The result of this job will enable us to provide our customers with tagged tools at the required production speed and with the utmost quality. Tags need to be encoded and appropriately recorded and controlled through specific excel files.Essential Job FunctionsAssemble & configure industrial vending machines to Assemble components for industrial vending machinesPrepare and install mechanical components (shelves, drawers, wiring harnesses)Connect/install IT peripherals related to these machinesPerform functional tests on these machinesPerform quality checks strictly in adherence to processPack & prepare the machines for shipmentTake care of administration related to work orders and component pickingCarry out warehouse related tasks (loading/unloading of shipments, moving pallets, put away, picking, perpetual inventory counts)Unpacking and organization of a variety of tools.Tagging of tools by using the best possible methodology – gluing, heat shrink – or combination of them.Encoding of tags once applied to the tools, allowing to test functionality and to encode to our customer’s standards.Understand the basic structure of excel files and always interacts with them ensuring its integrity.Ensures that the excel files are updated and controlled.Packing of tools and preparation for international shipment.Essential Skills & ExperienceProficient in English and French or Dutch.Experience with mechanical and/or electronic device assembly (and/or repair)Ability to follow technical work instructionsRespectful of Quality guidelines and committed to qualityHighly organized.
