Your mission:
As a process engineer in the life sciences sector, you will play a critical role in analyzing and optimizing our production processes. You will work to enhance product quality and operational efficiency through technical research, roadmapping and close collaboration with cross-functional teams.
What you’ll do
Process analysis & optimization
* Analyze production processes to identify and resolve production issues.
* Prepare detailed roadmaps to support structured reporting and information sharing.
* Collaborate with technical experts and relevant departments to establish clear parameters for process control and improvement.
Continuous improvement:
* Lead improvement projects, including the selection, procurement, commissioning, and validation of new equipment to enhance production capabilities.
Technical support in equipment validation and troubleshooting
* Complete the validation cycle for equipment and utilities e.g.: system requirements, risk analysis, writing and execution of validation protocols,...
* Complete the cycle for process development, e.g.: study reports, process validation,..
* Support in validation activities (equipment, process, cleaning, etc) ensuring efficient manufacturing with quality output.
* Provide technical troubleshooting support for operational challenges, offering expertise to the production team as needed.
Project management:
* Oversee the coordination required for machine optimization, ensuring reliable and efficient operations.
* Act as a liaison between R&D, production, maintenance and quality
Training & knowledge sharing:
* Coach and train department employees on best practices and process improvements, promoting a culture of continuous learning.
Your top skills:
* Master’s degree in engineering, life sciences, or a related field
* First experience in a GMP environment
* Strong analytical skills with an ability to interpret complex data and develop actionable solutions
* First experience in project management, including equipment start-up, validation, and process optimization
* Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with a focus on knowledge sharing and collaboration
* Ability to work autonomously and as part of a cross-functional team to drive results
