Business Lead / Product Specialist Export - LatAm/Canada (IVD knowledge required)
As a business lead, you will be responsible for strengthening the pipeline of leads in LATAM and Canada for specific products, ensuring that sales and business objectives are met. The Business Lead Export will focus on generating demand with clinicians and assisting our distributors in expanding the business through clinician contact.
As a Product Specialist, you will be responsible for training end-users and/or distributors on the use of IdyllaTM equipment and assays, as well as those of Biocartis’ partners.
You will provide timely, high-quality pre- and after-sales support, engaging with customers in technical and scientific discussions. Your customer support will be efficient and versatile, including remote and on-site trainings, demonstrations, installations, email and phone inquiries, application support, workflow analysis, planning, and troubleshooting.
Accountabilities
* Ensure that sales and business objectives for specific products are met, in close collaboration with the Export business managers and Business Lead Oncology (BLO), driving KPIs such as the number of leads, number of clinicians ordering specific products, and sales.
* Generate demand for specific products in existing and new sites:
o Help clinicians with correct patient selection for tests and discuss patient cases.
o Streamline patient and test ordering workflows in hospitals.
o Build financial models within hospitals.
o Support distributors in building a network of send-out clinicians/hospitals.
* Lead generation for specific products:
o Visit countries in the LATAM/Canada region to meet treating physicians and sell the value of specific products.
o Coordinate and grow a network of KOLs to support the adoption of new products.
o Participate as a sales representative at conferences in Export countries.
o Support distributors in reaching out to clinicians.
o Set up communication/lead generation campaigns through our distributors.
o Actively follow up on leads.
* Provide specific product training, both technical and clinical, to different stakeholders.
* Support the full oncology portfolio:
o Conduct distributor and end-user trainings.
o Give workshops and demonstrations.
o Handle customer complaints and inquiries.
o Participate in studies and scientific communications.
o Assist in product launches in the region.
o Share feedback from distributors and/or end-users with the Product Management team.
o Attend local conferences.
Profile requirements
* A Master’s degree in a scientific orientation or equivalent experience/training.
* A PhD is a significant plus.
* 3-5 years of commercial experience in the diagnostic or pharma industry.
* Experience with molecular diagnostics products.
* Experience with lead generation and campaigns.
* Extensive understanding of molecular biology.
* Strong business acumen and customer focus.
* Excellent presentation and organizational skills.
* Fluent in Spanish and English, both spoken and written.
